The Coalition's Mission
The Coalition for the Homeless of Nassau County’s mission is to reduce homelessness in Nassau County, Florida; to coordinate with other organizations to help homeless persons receive the services they need; and to create, fund, and maintain individual programs and ministries to further this objective.
The Coalition is nonsectarian and nonpartisan. We are a registered nonprofit 501(c) charitable organization, incorporated in the state of Florida. Our Board of Directors, staff, and volunteers receive no compensation for their services; 100% of our income is from donations, and we apply 100% to supporting our mission areas.
Donate
The Coalition for the Homeless is funded entirely through donations from organizations and generous people like you. Unlike other nonprofit organizations, our Board members and staff are all unpaid volunteers, so 100% of your donation is applied to our mission.
With your support, we can continue to provide crucial services such as the Cold Night Shelter and the Day Drop-In Center, which provides hot meals six days a week. Other programs available to our homeless population include relocation services, assistance with apartment move-in costs, and drug rehabilitation. Your donation will also help us expand our operations into the Westward area of Nassau County, which is currently greatly underserved.
